InstaFreight is among the ten fastest growing technology companies in Germany.
Berlin, 22 November 2021. – With a growth rate of over 1000 percent in the last four years, InstaFreight makes it to seventh place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2021.
InstaFreight received the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award yesterday, placing seventh in the ranking. With the award, Deloitte celebrates the 50 growth champions in the tech industry, based on their percentage revenue growth over the past four financial years. Within this period, InstaFreight achieved growth of over 1000 percent. Key to this success was the self-developed technology of the company's logistics platform.
With more than 770,000 carriers, the European market for land transportation is extremely fragmented. As a result, access to transport capacity is often cumbersome and non-transparent. InstaFreight's platform technology enables easier access to these transport capacities for companies who are looking for reliable transport partners and makes the companies' supply chain even more efficient and sustainable. Especially in these times of scarce capacity and rising prices, the essential importance of platforms in logistics is growing.
Maximilian Schaefer, one of InstaFreight's three Co-Founders, is delighted to have been recognized for his company's performance at the prestigious Technology Fast 50 Award: " The seventh rank at the Technology Fast 50 Award makes us happy and proud. But much more significant for us than the ranking is the recognition and signal effect of how technological solutions can positively change the socially so important logistics sector. And in the context of this development, we are even just at the beginning."
"While digital technologies were still a nice-to-have a few years ago, the picture is now very different: it is now impossible to imagine a majority of companies without digital technologies, because they make companies fit for the future and provide them with innovative means to successfully meet the challenges of our time," says Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Industry Lead Technology, Media and Telecommunications at Deloitte.
